How to become a model in Turkey

Istanbul is a major fashion and textile centre with its own fashion week, a huge apparel export industry and strong demand for catalogue and e-commerce models. Here's how to start — even with no experience and no budget.

1. Know which kind of model you are

   Fashion and runway usually want height (often 170 cm+), but commercial, beauty, fitness, curvy, petite and traditional-wear modelling are open to almost everyone. In Turkey, commercial and beauty work is where most new models start.

2. Take simple, honest photos
